Redo of my PowerBook G4 – went from 6GB to 32GB free

As seen in the previous pics, my PowerBook freaked out with the latest series of updates. I did a full back up to my external HD with DejaVu. My first thought was to do an Archive and Install, and after I realized I really hadn’t been able to clean out as much of the crap I’ve installed over the past 3 years.
So I went and ran the Erase and Install, and started fresh all over. I had been wanting to do it for quite a while. I was down to 6GB free around Christmas. Then I was able to get back up to 16GB. After this I was back up to 32GB free (55GB HD).
I did not load back in Microsoft Office, Dreamweaver 8 or Flash 8 (from my day job). I decided to just load Adobe Creative Suite and iWork 06. I need scale back my iPhoto library still, I just have from Sept 06 to current locally. But since January my pics are 10 megapixel large files.
My next project is to send my PowerBook off to iResq to upgrade my HD to a 100 GB 7200 RPM drive.

looks like you’ve done very well grabbing back space;) I don’t get to use my macbook at work anymore so I think I’ll be ok for a bit–but more space is always a good thing! I have an 80gb drive, would love to have a 120;)
I love that wallpaper. It would be handy to have since I seem to be living in TextMate lately. Where’d you get it if you don’t mind me asking?
